Tonight I went with Randy to the Hippodrome Theatre to see ‘Run Lola Run’ - a German movie with English subtitles. If you liked Sliding Doors and Go, you’ll love this movie. I thought the German with English subtitles would take away from my enjoyment of the movie, but with the movie’s fast pace, suspense, and other things, the mental craziness of trying to read the subtitles actually adds to the whole experience. If you have the five dollars (or three), I think it’s worth it. I just might see it again if I can convince someone to take me.

At the end of my 3rd period class this morning, there was a loud bell sound. I expected a flight attendant to say ‘The captain has turned off the seatbelt sign. Please remain seated until the aircraft has come to a complete stop.’

I remember ordering two jr. bacon cheeseburgers for lunch. I remember seeing two jr. bacon cheeseburgers on my tray when I sat down to eat. I remember taking only two bites of my lunch. I don’t remember what happened to the food, but I know the two jr. bacon cheeseburgers weren’t there anymore. A year ago I remember buying a chicken sandwich at Chili’s, but I don’t remember eating it. I bet most people haven’t seen me eat. Neither have I. I’m pretty sure I inhale most of my food when I’m not looking.

Today was my sixteenth first day of school. I went to three classes and a volleyball band audition. I don’t know what the three classes are about yet. I suppose I’ll figure that out by the time I do the homework or take the tests. I don’t know if the classes are easy or difficult either. I don’t know how I did during my band audition either. Good news is I get to go to work tomorrow where the future is more varied and predictable.

Perhaps the combination of espresso and sugar has fried my brain, but I’m having a hard time preparing a paragraph about the half dozen people I met and talked to tonight. They are good people who seemed to actually not mind my talking to/with them, which is almost baffling. Tonight I found out that “lots of cheating Uno” works just about as well as “cheating is wrong Uno.” Also, sugar tastes sugary and black cats don’t like to be followed.

Logic would dictate that after getting 5.5 hours of sleep and drinking lots of coffee this morning, by 1 AM I’d be tired enough to go to sleep. But I’m not, so I’ll check my mail.

I like to play. La la la la… sheesh, I haven’t updated anything here for -goodness- eleven days. Well, I should be back in the groove now. Update update happy happy la la la.

An open letter to the Gainesville or whatever flea market:
Your commercial announcer has a speech impediment. Although it’s not good to make fun of people who can’t speak clearly, it’s not always the smartest thing to make them commercial announcers.
‘Search for treashuresh and bargainsh this Friday, Shaturday, or Shunday. Our shtores have lotsh of great merschaindishe! Don’t mish it!’
And somebody actually PAID to broadcast that.
