The craze of locking out internet ability to on-campus students has finally hit UF’s DHNet. This incident is similar to the other University (I don’t recall which one) that prevented its students from using Napster through some sort of firewall. The only difference is that when the idea of censorship and limitation without reason hit the [expletive deleted over and over] DHNet guys, they decided to block out damn near everything. No games, no ftp. Hey, that makes sense. I don’t understand how the educational system in Florida revolves around people making sudden decisions and enforcing them before suggesting them to the world. Me want game work. Me want ftp work. Me want visit gun show.
