The [link removed]archive is up. It contains such classics as ‘Star Wars: Your Pants’, the Duck Hunt page, and a picture of Abraham Lincoln. Enjoy!

[link removed] The story page is now up for public scrutiny and slightly armored against some things I don’t want on the site. It’s something I had fun with years ago - people pass around a paper and add one line at a time to the story. After the page gets around the room, really weird stuff has happened to the character you introduced. No characters are safe on this page, so I suggest you don’t get too attached. (I was usually the one to exploit character mortality — ‘once upon a time there was larry the cricket / and he got run over by a lawnmower. the end.’)
AMD’s new Durons are out. Pricewatch says the 600 MHz versions sell as low as $84 (they’re brand new processors). Although I don’t like Tom’s Hardware, kudos for finding out the 600’s can overclock to 950. So basically it’s a $84 950MHz Duron (faster than pentium 3s) or a $750 900 MHz Pentium III. Eat AMD’s dust, Intel! Muhahahahaha
I apologize for the plethera of links in the previous paragraph.
I just finished the first half of my summer classes and have a week off. I’ll do some work on my webpage, my massive project at work, and perhaps work on BadAIM or perhaps a prompt-based AIM clone. Who knows? If you’re interested in a program that can chat on the AIM network through the dos prompt, please tell me. I figure lots of people who chat at work would like it. Lots of boring text on a DOS screen looks like real work. (Thank you Lynx programmers.)
What happens if you only have one arm, and you’re happy and you know it?
I saw ‘Gone in 60 seconds’ last night. Great movie. This is a good addition to the growing number of ‘crime is good, but not really’ stories, including ‘The Great Train Robbery’ by Crichton. I saw it from the front row, middle, and all I can say is John Goodman looks like Jabba the Hut from that angle.
Ort laha goboda Han Solo … [burp]
The campus channel 8 movie station thing provided by IRHA seems to be run by the same drunken monkies who keep breaking the campus power grid. I am now watching Rene Russo and Kevin Costner talk about golf and stuff:
him: 88 dollars down! That’s right, just 88 dollars down and you can drive one home today!
her: Kiss FM is good!
him (singing): I’ve got a new age girl…
her (singing): Tell us what she’s like…
They play Kiss FM whenever they play Kevin Kostner movies. Not when they play other movies, just Tin Cup. Perhaps it’s some sort of IRHA-type joke. Perhaps it’s some sort of, um… who cares? IRHA [expletive deleted]s [expletive deleted][expletive deleted].
This is a test of my new php3-perl-cgi posting code.
Woot.
Maaaaaaad skillz. That’s all there is to it.
The webpage now lists the five most recent days of updates, or lists the five updates on or before the specified date. Today I finished separating the updates into what is now 107 files. Next on the todo list is to get the surfer feedback stuff working (quote submission, comments, guestbook, messaging, etc.) and a sort of non-volatile customization using cookies. If you have any ideas for stuff I should throw in the page, feel free to email me at boltmeyer.com - just pick a name and attach ‘@boltmeyer.com.’
Boltmeyer likey php. Main index page is three lines long.
Trust me, I’m working on this page. If you want the old stuff, go to the old stuff.
