I need to post to gradually scroll that goofy picture off the front page…

I bought it this Friday, and I’m past the 30 hour mark for Final Fantasy IX. I’m taking care of business at a pretty good clip.

Dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig … Choco Beak Level Up! … dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig dig …

Square really has the whole B.F. Skinnerian behavior thing down pat.

Maybe it’s because my brain is wasted by recent events and too many sequels to *Final* Fantasy, but I feel the need to rant on stuff I usually don’t rant on. … Winamp decided to play Counting Crows’ Colorblind, and I listened to it three times after looking up the lyrics. It got me thinking about my whole experience with the whole thing, growing up colorblind and colorblind, then still being colorblind, but wishing I were still the other colorblind. It’s generally a good idea not to tell somebody they’re colorblind. Anyway, here are the words to the song. It’s a short one.

Colorblind
-Counting Crows
-This Desert Life

I am colorblind
Coffee black and egg white
Pull me out from inside
I am ready, I am ready, I am ready
I am taffy stuck and tongue tied
Stutter shook and uptight
Pull me out from inside
I am ready, I am ready, I am ready
I am fine

I am covered in skin
No one gets to come in
Pull me out from inside
I am folded and unfolded and unfolding
I am colorblind
Coffee black and egg white
Pull me out from inside
I am ready, I am ready, I am ready
I am fine
I am fine
I am fine
