I’ve been buying a lot of DVDs. Yesterday I saw [bought] “Good Morning, Vietnaaaam!”. It was good. If they had flashlights a couple hundred years ago, the star-spangled banner would be reworded a bit: “..the bombs bursting in air made it overly redundant that the flag was still there..”

Programming tasks are strange. Currently I’m working on a task that is akin to putting various shaped blocks through various shaped holes. There’s the circle, the block, a triangle, etc. Sometimes the blocks are dull and weary. Sometimes the blocks are shiny and good. Sometimes the blocks are three times the size of the thing that holds all the slots, and there is no possible path of resolving this problem. And then someone comes by with a really large hammer and slams the Gigantor-block through the triangular-shaped slot. Problem solved.

I think I’m coming down with a bad case of hypochondria.

Hi. My name is Eric and I disappeared two months ago.

I help make video games. I work a lot, play earth and beyond, then buy a used dvd at blockbuster, then get subway, think about [girl] (no, not that one - a different one), watch the movie, and go to sleep. These events are invariably interrupted by scott asking me if I want to go out and party downtown. I invariably say no, because of course I am afraid of clubs. This is my life.

Well, I have officially graduated. Apparently it takes two to three months to get a diploma from the University of Florida now. I don’t feel any smarter. Maybe I’ll feel smarter after I give the degree a big hug and wrinkle its useless little shiny lettering.

NO, I DIDN’T GET A CABLE MODEM YET.
