While waiting in line for my Back Yard Burger the other day, I spoke with an old man about the election. He brought it up somehow - I’m usually afraid of talking to new people. I shouldn’t have been surprised at who he was voting for. He was voting for Bush. He was eight thousand years old and admitted he doesn’t pay attention to the news or the issues. His sole reason for voting for Bush was that he felt George was more attractive and Kerry’s nose was too big. After fighting down the urge to vomit all over the guy, I told him I was looking forward to seeing him at the polls this coming Wednesday.
